Proving Ground – The dining patio overlooks their private beach and is a perfect spot to enjoy hearty American fare while you soak in the bay breeze. In the winter you can cozy up to one of the fire pits outside but if it’s too cold out, you can still enjoy beautiful views from their giant windows overlooking the bay. Bahrs Landing Seafood Restaurant -Ideally located between the bridge to Sandy Hook and the marina where boats stop for a beverage before their next voyage, this is THE perfect spot for day drinking, people watching and spectacular views. Year round - 13 min walk
Off the Hook is located at the foot of the Highlands - Sea Bright Bridge and has incredible views of both the bay & ocean. There's lots of games & seating outdoors and two bars, live music and lots of fun inside.
Sandbox at Seastreak Ferry –This Beach Shack adjacent to the ferry offers casual grub and a full bar or you can grab a bite from one of the food trucks to enjoy in their picnic area, plus there’s always live music at this giant playground for all ages. 15 min walk
Seafarer – This bohemian bayside lounge offers excellent seafood from their partner Cuts & Catch NJ (who also run Highlands Cafe in town). There is plenty of seating on the dock, at the tiki bar, or in the lounge area and no matter where you sit, you have a perfect view. There is live music almost every night and daytime disco on Saturdays. 10 min walk
Moby’s Lobster Deck – The name says it all – located in the same lot as Bahr’s, this easy casual spot also offers stunning views from their colorful deck plus fresh seafood and cold beer. 13 min walk
